Yesterday I got the 2 blocks made for the BOM I am participating in. The hostesses chose the blocks, but they are all from Quilter'sCache. May's block was called 'Alaska Homestead' and June (on the right) is the 'Tennessee' block.~ it should be all scrappy, but in keeping with my Christmas theme, I made it in the same prints I've done the other blocks in, I'm not so sure if I like it or not, but I'll leave it until I see all the blocks together before I do any changing. ;-)

I also finished up the May Verandah Views block (link in sidebar).
And then I got down to my 'homework' as Bingo~Bonnie calls it. :-)) I like that term! It was making more HST's with the Triangulations papers. I made up a batch for our swap and a batch for the 30's Jewel Box blocks swap I am hosting on HGTV. Last night I finger-pressed them and took out the papers, so today I can sew! Hope you are finding time to sew a seam or two too! ;-)

Until next time~
Happy Stitchin'!! :-)

wow 3 in 1 post - haven't you been on the ball ;) I never got in on the sampler BOM from LisaP8 and SS on the boards. I was gonna but then didn't... samplers just really aren't my thing anyway..
but I love your Verandah View blocks! Those chickens are so cute and everytime I see them I think of JudyL and her new baby chicks she has been posting about. ;)
and your homework is looking very good = I give you an A+ ;) I was doing great on my jewels but am at a stand still b/c I ran out of WOW and have been too chicken to pick up the phone and call in an order to Keepsakes. I tried looking on line but didn't see them at all...
Talk to you soon! Have a great day.
Bonnie
Quilter's Cache is full of good stuff! You could make a ton of quilts without ever buying a pattern
Your blocks look great, and your stitchery, cute... and done! Good for you! 8-)
Compared to me you are well on a roll! lol... I've been sluggish with my WIPs...
Happy stitchings!
