Happy Halloween!

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days! Busy, busy here! I finished swapping all those little 4 patches and HST's and got the last of them off in yesterday's mail. Yay! :-) This was the HST side of the swap. 931 of them to swap. I can't wait to see all the lovely Jewel Box quilts that result from this swap! :-)

Next up, I have sheets to swap. FQ's of vintage sheets~ this shot shows some of them on the table.... I am really excited to make a Vintage Sheet quilt with all of these! I haven't been near my sewing machine in days, but have things prepped and hope to sneak in lots of sewing this weekend. I'll show you the results on Monday. :-)

Design Wall Monday~

What is on my design table today?? :-) Judy L asks that question every week and today my wall is my dining room table~ and it has had a lot on it!! :-o First~ I sewed some of the My Blue Heaven blocks (Marcia Hohn's QuiltersCache site) that I'm exchanging with Bingo~Bonnie together over the weekend. So, although I never got around to pressing them, I wanted to lay a few out for y'all for today. :-) I am really excited about these blocks! :-) We've exchanged 30 so far, and have made 60 total. We are going to exchange another 30 so we can have big quilts. :-) I don't know why it is flipped on it's side, but the blocks look the same. LOL :-))

Then I cleared off the table~ got a 'few' more tables out and laid out all the blocks for the Jewel Box block swap I am hosting on the HGTV message boards. What you see here is all the blocks before I started swapping. There are 256 blocks from 14 swappers. I need to get back to work, so that is all for today~ enjoy the photo's and until next time~~ Oh! and if you click on the photo's they will enlarge. ;-)

Finishing the Weekend Quiltathon~

I worked on the HST's for Judy L.'s 'Bears in the Farmhouse Quilt-Along' on Sunday and this morning I needed to finish pressing them up. A few still have their papers attached, but they will come out tonight while I'm in my easy chair. :-) I was all smug thinking, 'yay those HST's are finished!' Until I looked a little closer at the pattern~ one of the borders is all HST's too! :-o I have a real love/hate relationship with those little buggers! :-/ Love the look, hate all the squaring up... although with the Triangulations, there really isn't any squaring up to them, just paper rippin'.

Then I finished up a couple oriental lanterns for that swap~

Now I just need to do a few more of the paper-pieced blocks and the swap will be ready for mid-March. :-) If I do them tomorrow, then the rest of the week I can go back to finishing some of my table toppers! ;-)
