My Quiltathon Weekend~

Even though I feel like I accomplished a lot~ it doesn't look like much. LOL Oh well, the sewing was fun!

First I got my 3 blocks together for 'Piece & Goodwill' (Nov/Dec issue of Quiltmaker magazine) that Shannon and I are working on. It was a lot harder than I thought because you need 8 light greens/block! :-o And for some reason, my stash is very light on light greens. :-) A few friends have volunteered to help me out with some scraps, so I will work more on these next month. ;-)

Then I moved to my Fig Tree Club 'Cobble Stones' kit. I decided I wanted to save all those little HST's on the corners, so it is taking me 3 times longer than it would if I would just follow the directions. :-) I'm sewing extra seams, so when I cut them off, I'll have lots of fun little HST's. :-) I'm thinking a mini in the making. :-) But it is slow-going right now. Last night I drew lines to follow thinking that might speed up sewing on them. ;-) I'll let you know how it goes. :-)

Now hop over to Judy L's little Mr Linky and be inspired by the works of quilters all over blogland! :-)

Until next time~
Happy Stitchin'!

It's A Quiltathon Weekend!

Judy L is hostessing Quiltathon's again this year. Yay! Read about them Here. I am planning to sew on Saturday~ I have had enough stash organizing for a few days and I want to sew! LOL ;-))
If you can't make it this weekend, she has a weekend a month dedicated to quilting and encouraging each other on our projects. There is always so much inspiration! Mark your calendars for future sew-in's and come and join us! ;-)

Quiltathon Weekend~

It's quiltathon weekend and I am sneaking in a bit of sewing every chance I can find! :-) I am working on my Quilt-Along project. :-) Making HST's using Triangulations. The papers make 1 dozen at a time! Since I have 2 projects that both use the same size HST's, I'm making a few more while I'm at it. Tomorrow night will find me removing papers. ;-)

And for those of you who are facing snow and cold temps~ here is a peek at Spring at my house. :-) Click for a larger view~ I didn't want to make them so large that you'd think I was rubbing it in! lol :-)

Until next time~

Happy Stitchin'!!

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
