More Vacation Sewing~

This is Kim's pattern~ Tote Along Tool Caddy.
I made it for my Mom a few years ago, and a friend of her's fell in love. :-)

So I made this one for her friend, Donna, while I was visiting.

I did make a couple alterations to Kim's pattern. I added a little flap to the back pocket,
and a zipper on top.

I overheard Donna tell mt Mom~ 'my bag
is prettier than your bag!' LOL :-) Uh-oh! ;-)

I'm sorry I didn't get this posted sooner, because when I was looking for a link to Kim's blog, I saw she had her patterns on sale. :-o  Oops!

I'll be back soon with a few quilts from the show I saw.
Until next time~
Happy Quilting!!

That is a beautiful tote and gorgeous fabric choices. I have a lot of fun and batik style fabrics, need to get creative.

I love those batik prints. I've been hoarding mine. The zip closure and flap looks awesome!

What a very pretty summery bag!! I think your addition of the zipper and extra pocket make it even more special and usable.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
