Ok, so I couldn't think of a title for this post. :-) LOL
I have no idea how it can be the end of July already!
Life has been busy! We took full advantage of raspberry season, and I made jam,
froze some for smoothies, had them over ice cream~ yum!
And just kept myself busy in the kitchen! :-)
I did manage to get behind my sewing machine a bit too. I an in beaquilter's
Swoon block swap and got my first block made!
This participant requested Halloween~
We are making 2 blocks for each swapper since we have a small group. I requested red with cheery colors and a low volume background~ I can't wait to see what my blocks will be like!! :-)
Wait! There's more.....
I also finished my HGTV BOM block for July~ nothing like waiting until the last minute, right?
And I received my August block from my Mystery Sister already! :-o I need to get busy and make one for my MS and get it sent! Can you believe August starts on Friday?!!
I need to get crackin'!! I hope you had a wonderful July, and I'll be back as soon as I can get some things sewn. ;-)

I can't believe it's August at the end of the week. Gorgeous swoon block and HGTV block.
I've seen a lot of Swoon blocks but never a Halloween one. Unique and fun.
I love both of your blocks - the colors and the patterns. here instead of raspberries everything is always about blueberries for me because my brother grows so many!
it is always fun to see the blocks you make or receive from a swap. Swoon done in Halloween fabric is something I haven't seen before but is really cute. That is a quilt I would like to see when done - such a fun idea.
The Swoon block is fabulous and I like the other one too.
I love the Halloween Swoon block. The quilt your swappee is making is going to be great.
Oh yes, and how the heck can it be August on Friday, wasn't it only just Valentine's day a couple of weeks ago?
just finished my last swoon block .. and sent them in the post xx It was fun to ..find!.. and work with the different fabrics x Just hope they are what folks wanted!!
