Winter Solstice~~

I am sewing along with Paulette and other bloggers, making
the Winter Solstice quilt from 'Life in the Country' by Country Threads.

Our first 'assignment' was to do the 2 barns.....

I am going to do mine in a combination of cottons, homespuns, and wool~
all of which are in my stash! :-) A totally stash quilt... I love it!!

To see everyone else's blocks, go to Sweet P's blog and take a mug of your favorite morning drink along, because you will be there a while! ;-)

Until next time~
Happy stitchin'!

Your barns are great!!! Isn't this fun? :)

Where in Washington are you? I lived in the Kirkland and Queen Anne area when i was in my 20's. I make it up there quite a lot. Love the area.

Your Swoon blocks are definitely swoon-worthy, but I am REALLY in love with your building blocks. :)

Thanks for stopping by and entering my giveaway. I love hearing from you. I hope you have had a good summer.

I see you joined in on the Winter Soltice project. I would have done the same had I not already made my quilt top earlier in the year. Or maybe it was last year.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
