June Vintage Schnibbles

The pattern for the Vintage Schnibble this month is Dulcinea.  It is a very sweet double pinwheel quilt and Carrie (of Miss Rosie's Quilt Co.) has some really clever tips for making the blocks consistent~ they join together like a dream!

I used a couple charm packs from Connecting Threads for my version.  These are from an older line and the charms from CT don't always have 40 charms/pack. They are packaged as one charm of each print in the line~ so sometimes you have 20, somethings 17 etc. With the charms I had, I needed to make a little smaller version of Dulcinea, but I do love how it turned out!  I used a FQ to make my borders, which was just perfect as that was all I had of coordinating fabric. :-o LOL

Be sure to check out Sherri and Sinta's blogs on Monday for the parade.  I've seen a few popping up in blogland and I can say it is going to be a wonderful parade!

Until next time~
Happy Stitchin'!

Hey, great job! I love your border, it really sets off the blocks. These Schnibbles patterns are great for trying new things. See ya in the parade!

Little is cuter and I love your fabric choice. I think Moda is the only fabric company whose designers do 40+ prints in a collection. Lots of choice but overwhelming at times. :o)

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
