Thimbleberries Sew Day! Finished!

...or maybe not. ;-) All the blocks I've made are together and it measures 56 x 74. I plan to add 4 inch borders so it will be approx. 64 x 82... I'm thinking about adding one more row of blocks along the side so it will be 70 inches wide with borders.... I have time to think about it. ;-)If you are new to my blog, I have been working on this top the past few months using only my Thimbleberries scraps. The pattern is Bonnie Hunter's Bricks and Stepping Stones. It is one of those quilts I always wanted to make 'someday'~ I'm so happy that someday arrived!! :-) Thanks Bonnie for the great pattern!

Did you get to sew today? It was a beautiful sunny day here and hard to sit at my machine, but I am so happy I did! :-))

Until next time~
Happy stitchin'!!

It looks fantastic! I love the warm, country colors! Great job! I made my DJ blocks this morning, and now am starting up a new project - with 60* angle cuts -- wish me luck! :o)

I like it!! You did very good!! Take the time to add the extra row if it will make it the size you really want.

I really like how it turned out. That Bonnie sure is clever. I may have to reexamine my feelings about Thimbleberries fabric.

That's a great pattern, and it looks so nice made with the Thimbleberries fabrics.

Yes, I did sew today. It's raining here, and it's perfect for hanging out in my sewing room.

looks great - but I agree, I think one more row on the side will make it perfect... and like you it's been on my someday list. After my Round 2 swap I'm hosting this fall for 4 patches... and vicki's bricks swap then I'll be ALL SET to get going someday too - maybe this winter I'll get started...?

I'm loving this pattern. I've made the Bricks Quilt and now I need to add the stepping stones. Running to have a look at Bonnie's Pattern. Thanks for the great picture.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
