What's Your Favorite Color?

It seems like a pretty straightforward question right? But it is a very difficult one for me to answer! And I'm happy to see some of you had the same problem! :-) LOL Is it a 'quilter thing'? :-) You are probably wondering why I asked~ well, Barb asked me that question last week and I really waffled before answering! I thought of sky blue, and robin's eggs, sunrise.. and sunsets! The clear colors of spring, the greens, golds and reds of the holidays, the cranberries and wheat and oranges & plums of autumn and I was stumped. :-/ So I stretched it and told her 'autumn'. :-) LOL And yesterday the mailman brought me a little surprise~

A bunch of tumbler blocks from Barb! Thank you! And look~ they are autumn! Muted pinks, and cranberries, browns and tans and golds... :-) They are going to make a wonderful little quilt for me. :-) And when I use it this fall/winter, I will think of my friend Barb. :-) How cool is that?!

And you gave me an idea by telling me your favorite colors. I didn't realize so many of you loved pink! You surprised me! I am going to have to do some shopping before my next giveaway, but hopefully I'll find what I'm looking for sometime in my travels this summer. It is going to be a busy, crazy busy! summer but a little 'shopping therapy' will happen too. ;-)

Until next time~
Happy stitchin'!

I really have no idea what my favorite colour is! It seems to change with my mood, the seasons, and maybe even the lighting! LOL

What a sweet friend you have - can't wait to see the finished quilt - after your hectic summer I presume.

What a neat way for Barb to surprise you! ;) and I just *know* you will do some shopping therapy this summer - not tooooo long from now... when you meet up with the HGTV friends for the Circle of Friends Retreat! ;)

Did you see my post on the thread about THE Bonnie offering to meet you all in the park during her lunch break at the Sister's show..... I'm so jealous that you all get to meet her before I do. :P

Looking forward to hearing about how those tumblers go together... the quilts I've seen appear difficult. are they?

Love from Texas! ~bonnie

I "do" autumn quite often. Maybe that's why, even today, I still call my kid's "Pumpkin". LOL

Yes, even the grandkids are now "pumpkin".

And yes, I look like a PUMPKIN.

I think I have a PUMPKIN theme going on here...LOL

How did I miss this? Oh, that's right... my glow in the dark treatment. I like green especially, and all warm, muted colors. And all Christmas colors, too. ;-) Is that too many?

That Barb! How nice was that, and what a great surprise for you!

Shopping therapy... happening soon! :-D

So that's what Barb is doing with all of those tumblers she was cutting! I remember seeing them on her blog! She is such a sweetie, and it will be nice to have a quilt to remind you of her.

Thats easy for me... it's always been puurple... first and foremost. But I do enjoy many other colours... and I'm not too fond of pink. In moderation it's great.

I always said if I have a girl her room will be purple, lime and tangerine... I think that's pretty mod and fresh ;)

Come to think of it I think that'll make a wonderful quilt. Hummm?!

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
