It might be me, but I think not~ these directions leave a lot to be desired! :-o A few illustrations would be nice!! :-/ I finally~ finally!!~ have the bag together and grommets in place. Now to cover the cord for the handle~ which I have been futzing with for the last hour!! Yes, I am a little frustrated but I am also determined! ;-)) I figured it out, but it would've been so much simpler if they would just add a couple illustrations to their directions. This is the first Indigo Junction pattern I have ever made, and next time... if there ever is a next time!... I will open it in the store and see if it is any clearer. ;-) Whew! I have never had to struggle so much to follow directions! ;-)
I think a little chocolate is in order. :-)) And then off to work on the handle. ;-)
Hope you are having a successful day!! :-)

Were the grommets hard to do?
That's good to know about the pattern...but wow it is turning out so totally adorable!!! Definitely go get yourself some chocolate :)
I have not made this bag. Usually Indygo Junction patterns are very well written. Can't wait to see your finish.
Wow, your bag is looking soooo very pretty.
Great Bag!! I too think patterns should come with photos. I just sit there sometimes and read and reread and still don't get it... But, in the end, your tote turned out fantastic!
Your bag is cute even though it was difficult. (Kris's Mom)
It looks really cute with the grommets. It sure looks like it was a challenge too.
Looking good!! Keep up the good work, can't wait to see the finished bag. Little Sister,Barbara.
Oh man - I hate it when a pattern doesn't have diagrams! But, your bag is just SO CUTE! I'm loving it!!!
I'll post on this entry... The finished bag is gorgeous!!!!!!! I want one. I've seen this pattern and on that note.
I've found that some of the bag patterns DO leave a lot to be desired. The instructions are difficult and never enough pictures for me.
I have another take on this, too. I have a lot of difficulty following instructions in general. Even when I'm making a quilt, I generally ignore the instructions---I look at the block, the size, cutting instructions for sashing, etc. This is never the best either, but it works better than me trying to follow instructions.
