I worked on DD's tote bag today and finished it! Except for attaching the flower~ I'll let her decide on its placement. I was working on it yesterday and sent her a photo and she wrote back all upset!~ :-o She cut it out while home for Spring Break and wanted the polka dot on the inside~ but that wasn't how she cut it, and I didn't know. :-o I just sewed it the way it was cut. Well, after a little discussion~ and me finishing it, she decided she loves it! LOL Kids! (here I was thinking I might have myself a new tote bag ;-)) It is Amy Butler's Sweet Harmony pattern and even though it was a lot of steps~ I love the end result! So much so, that I'm now working on a handbag for me. ;-) The inside has 2 large zippered pockets, ~ I purposely put in 2 different colors of zippers so she won't have to open both pockets when looking for something. And it has a hidden cell phone pocket in the outside pocket. Love it! :-)
Looking for a little blogging help? Screaming Meme is having a sweet giveaway! She is an awesome decorator and has the coolest ideas! I love peeking in to her blog~ maybe something will rub off! LOL :-) Be sure to tell her I sent you. ;-) Good luck to us!! :-)) LOL
Until next time~
Happy stitchin'!

Your work is so beautiful, my dear friend. Happy Quilting!
Very cute! I love the striped fabric for the lining! :o) And the two different colored zippers is a good way to stay organized!
