On Saturday I was cutting more squares for
Piece & Goodwill, and got distracted. :-o I thought I'd just cut a few more strips for these blocks and then I ended up sewing 8 more blocks! This project is kind of my 'cast off' project. When I trim up fabric I usually cut a strip off to get the edges even... after saving those for a while, and then discovering odd strips left from cutting P&G pieces, I started making these blocks. At first I only had enough pieces for a couple blocks, but after Saturday I am well on my way to another Christmas quilt. ;-) You can read more about these blocks on
Stash Manicure. ;-) What I really love about these blocks (besides the fact that they are quick and use up small strips) is that there are so many different layout options! Once I get another bunch done, the fun will begin! But for now, I am going to do 3/month along with the P&G blocks and try not to be distracted. ;-) LOL

That is gonna be great. I like to work on more than one top at a time as well.
Love your quilt, you don't waste anything do you? That is the way to be!
I like your quilt. What a great Christmas quilt.
Fun quilt for the holidays!!
I like it when you can play with different design layouts. I guess it's not too early to think about a Christmas quilt-oh somebody smack me for saying that!!
