A Finish...

Yay! I'm just a little behind~ this is DD's raggy denim/flannel quilt. I made one for my DS and his friend when they graduated from HS. And then I continued to make them for guy HS graduates that we knew. Well when DD was getting ready to graduate this year, I asked what she'd like and she said, 'aren't you making me a denim quilt? I've been saving my old jeans...' I really didn't think she'd want one. :-) She had enough jeans saved for hers and one for her best friend! I made the friend's in time for graduation, but DD was always around and I didn't want her to see the flannels I purchased for hers. So I finally finished it and she got it this past weekend. :-) The pattern is from an old magazine that is now out of business, but it was designed by Evelyn Sloppy... I just love this pattern! :-) *click the pics to make them larger...
Until next time~~ Happy Stitchin'!!

It looks great! Love it! What is the size of the quilt?
I've never made a rag quilt...yet. 8-)
How many layers do you use. Some use 2, some use 3, what number is good for with denim? Do you use batting at all? Questions, Questions.... 8-)

Very nice finish! Rag quilts are so cozy to snuggle under :^)

Looks like a comfy cover up. I made a raggedy quilt using circles that I like very well.

I love this raggedy denim quilt so much. I have some jeans saved so I think I'll be making a quilt similar to this one of these days.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
