To Answer a Few Questions..

I'll try to answer a few questions that were left in my comments.... Yes, Holly my string blocks are all 30's fabrics. I love 'em. I have 3 quilts done in 30's fabrics. One still needs its binding (scallops~ I'm dragging my feet ;-)), and one I am ever-so-sloooowly hand-quilting. That'll probably take me another 30 years. LOL ;-) I'll try to remember to get photo's of them. The 30's strings blocks I am going to have red centers and make a cheery little table topper for my kitchen, which has a few red accents in it. Myra, the strips can vary in width, but generally we don't make them any bigger than the center strip~ and everyone gets to choose their center strip size, and colors for this swap since we mail directly to each other. It is fun getting those envelopes in the mail :-) Thanks y'all for asking questions and for commenting!! :-))





This is a photo of my loaner machine. They called to tell me mine is back again, but I'm not going after it until Saturday. I have lots of errands that day, so will combine it with my errands. This time I am taking my power cords along and making sure it works before I walk out of there! The loaner has worked well. I finished up all my Christmas blocks for that swap. Yay! :-)





Tomorrow I hope to finish up a few more things. Like my DD's graduation quilt... she graduated in ah....um.... June. :-o Yikes! I'm just a little behind! :-)
