A Little Fun~

Happy Fall y'all!!!

This past summer I saw a few tutorials on how to make a girls dress out of a man's shirt.  I liked the concept, but since my dear little GD lives quite far from us, I wasn't sure if I could pull it off.
So I bought a pattern and loosely cut my pieces like the pattern pieces. ;-)

My man's shirt went from this~

 To this~

I sewed the placket closed, but left the buttons.
I think it will be really cute with a long sleeved knit shirt under it and can hardly wait
for my DGD to receive it in the mail so I can get a pic! LOL

I hope you've been having a little fun sewing too!
Until next time~
Happy Stitchin'!

What a great way to repurpose a shirt! And it made for such a sweet little dress.

That looks so sweet. I can't wait to see that picture of her wearing it.

Oh my gosh! That is so cute! Opens up a whole new world with men's shirts.

That is darling. I've seen some cute aprons done with men's shirts too, but haven't tried any of these.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
