Remember when I was busy making all those Swoon blocks for a swap?

My blocks arrived last week and I have been admiring them. :-)
I arranged them in two's (we each made two blocks for each other)
and have been enjoying walking past them! LOL
I requested a red solid 'house' part, a low volume background, and quilter's choice of any bright fabric for the star. It looks like lots of swappers liked blue! :-) We had one swapper drop out, but she has promised to mail us blocks. I have requested that she just send me the fabrics she planned to use, but sigh I have no idea if she will because she is not answering emails. :-(
So, I need to make 2 more~ any suggestions for the star?
Once I get them made, I will re-arrange them all. :-) I really love the blocks and can't wait to get this one together! And if the missing blocks, or fabrics show up before I'm done, I will use those and make pillows from any extra's I made. That's my plan! :-)

Gorgeous blocks! Love all those colors.
You have a nice set of blocks that works to well together - that one lite pink stands a little lonely, maybe another on that shade and one a little darker to add more pink with the mix.
How about purple and orange?? I think they would add to the other blocks - but am wondering what the orange would look like in a red petal.... But those are the colors I thought of right away when I saw the blocks. I like them. Or Green!!! Yeah, do green!!! :-)
I love those blocks, I have thought to make a swoon quilt - but I guess I just need to add that one on to my never ending list also! too many to make and not enough lifetime to do it!!

Oh fun, how about bright green? Or maybe one more bright yellow and one pink. What a pretty quilt it will be. Looking forward to seeing what you decide.
Maybe two shades of purple? Or green? Whatever you choose they'll look great and make a fabulous quilt.
