Bloggers Quilt Festival

It is that time of year, and Amy has really worked hard to make this the best festival ever!
After doing a little thinking and a lot of photo searching, I discovered that over
the years I have lost some photo's! :-(  And unfortunately, the photo's I lost are the ones where I gave the project away.  I always said I'd make another for myself, but that never happened~ perhaps now it will! :-)

I am entering in the mini category. I have made a lot of mini quilts, and love the challenge of the small pieces.
This was my first and the one that hooked me~ I had saved the little cut off HST's from a larger project and thought, why not sew them together? LOL famous last words!

It measures 6.5 inches square. The little HST's are 1/2 inch. I made it in 2002 or 2003 and it is fun for me to look at it and see how far I've come. :-)

Thank you for stopping by! Now be sure to visit the Blogger's Quilt Festival and be overwhelmed by all the gorgeous quilts! :-)

That is a mini isn't it!! Very cute though, and I am glad the pieces most would throw out and not ever use, found a lovely new use and have created this 'masterpiece'!! :-)

As always, you have done a great job and look, with this little guy, have also created a new addiction! ;-)

I love tiny piecing! And I have sewn HSTs that small - strangely satisfying, isn't it? :-) Great job.

Wow! I'm quite sure I've never made 1/2" HST's. That' so tiny. And for the whole quilt to finish at 6.5" is impressive. Very nicely done!

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
