Mini Basket Challenge

Remember the mini basket challenge Temecula Quilt Co hosted in July? You can see the adorable quilts they made here.  I used one of those little Moda 'candy' sets (2.5 inch squares) to make my baskets, and I was only able to get 16 out of the pack.  No worries~ I loved making the mini baskets! They finished at 2 inches! :-)

Here is my mini~

I'm sorry but I was so excited to get it washed and crinkled, this is the only photo I took before tossing it in the water! :-o  You can't see all my little baskets very well, but all 16 are in there! :-)  My petunia's are bigger than the baskets. LOL

Today I am off to quilt a top for my Mom. Wish me luck as inspiration has not struck yet! :-)

Have a happy week!

I haven't tried using one of the 'candy' sets yet. Looks like it worked well for your baskets! A beautiful petunia, but I'd love to see some close ups of the quilt when you finish washing it. (My eyes aren't what they used to be.)

Love those baskets and quilt! They really are tiny, I don't know if I have the patience to cut and sew them ;-D

I knew these baskets were small, but seeing them against the flowers shows just how tiny they are.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
