BOM Catch Up and Other Stuff

LOL, I feel like the White Rabbit~ 'I'm late, I'm late!!'  It seems like I am always a little behind lately. I hope I can get back to my regular blogging soon!

I've been sewing~ catching up on BOM's mostly~

The HGTV BOM June block~

These blocks will all have an alternate block between them. Everyone is keeping their alternate block a secret until the end of the year. :-)

The Kansas City Star BOM~

This is the May block. The June block will be published this weekend. The quilt has a large feathered star in the middle and I keep wondering when that one will show up. ;-) I'm not real crazy about this block and may re-do it. Of course, it doesn't help that my photo is blurry. :-o  The measurements and set in seams were a bugger~ I may re-draft it and try again.

Marry Merry Snowman by Bunny Hill; block 4~

I am doing this one as a sew along with some of the HGTV message board ladies. It is really cool to see all the different colors the ladies are using. I'm using up my Nancy Halvorsen fabrics and doing the applique in wool.  I am really loving working with the wool! :-)

I am also doing the Country Threads BOM, but only have the 6 inch one finished for this month, so stay tuned for that completion. LOL

It seems I am spending a lot of time outside lately. All my flower beds are weeded. Things are blooming and thriving, so I must be doing something right. I do not have a very green thumb, but I keep trying. ;-)

I hope you have been following along with the Clover & Violet 'Season By Hand' posts. The whole schedule is just below this post. My day is next week and I am working on that little project in the evenings. ;-)
