Christmas Through the Year....

When I was gone to my quilting retreat, we had a little fun one night and did a mystery project.
Do you know what this is?

How about now?

It's called the 'Big Foot' and was designed to hold your sewing machine foot so it doesn't escape. I am always loosing mine, stretching my leg this way and that to find it, etc. What a great idea! And I loved the big flip-flop. LOL The pattern can be found here~ Pure Joy Patterns.

I like mine so much, I made a few more for my CTTY box. :-) We did change the pattern a bit and eliminated the binding.

I also put a couple towels in my box earlier this month~

To see what others have put in their Christmas boxes, check out the links at Kim's @ Lily Patch Quilts. :-)

Until next time~
Happy stitchin'!!

Your Big Foot is a wonderful, wonderful idea...I was chasing my foot pedal all day today. Some days are worse than others...LOL!

That is such a great idea!!! I am always chasing my foot around the room - even with gripper fabric on the bottom of it.

Hey, that's pretty neat! I'm also adjusting mine under the table and now that I'm going to be switching from carpet to laminate, I know it's going to be even worse. People are always coming up with the neatest ideas!

The Big Foot is a really great idea. I have a problem with mine sliding around. Love those towels. Did you embroider it?

Hahaha - I thought it was a flip-flop, but who knew that it was so useful? Your towels are pretty, too. Your CTTY box is filling up nicely already.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
