Still Sewing~

I decided to extend Thimbleberries sew day for one more day since I'm loving making these blocks~ and all the mess is out. LOL  ;-) I know there are some mediums and even what could be considered a dark in with the lights~ I'm trying not to be too controlling and make it more scrappy. :-)

This is what I accomplished yesterday~ a small pile of Log Cabin blocks.  I'm working on one of the quilts in Miss Rosie's Spice of Life Quilts book.  (I hope that link works)  I am trying out the new and improved blogger and I'm still finding my way around. ;-)  It is 'cleaner' and I think I will like it, its just that it takes me a bit to get used to change~ a sign of my age? :-o LOL

I'm off to work a bit. I don't anticipate much sewing time today so we'll see how it goes. ;-)
Have a happy day!

I think the blocks look great, Sandie...and I like the darker colors in with the lights!

I should probably give the "new" Blogger a try but I am such a scardy cat when it comes to changing up my blog....I'm definitely technologically challenged. I tried to change my blog background and header last night and it's in a mess....gotta wait til hubby gets home to help me fix it! I'm hopeless! :o(

XOXO,

Cyndi

ooops, I,uh, made a pillowcase instead of working on my Thimbleberries...... sorry...

But, I really like your blks! I love the centers - and I had never seen that book before. Would you recomend it?? Or is it just for some things and it's not one someone would want in their library?? No, I am not thinking me!!! Just in general 'cause it looks like an okay book!

I love log cabins, there are so many ways you can use them. Yours are very nice, I love the diagonal middle square. I'll have to try that!

those little blocks are so cute-your Link worked and good for you for trying the new blogger...I looked at it got confused and went back to the old. I know soon I won't have a choice. sigh, how much more new stuff in one month must I learn? I guess it's September now so I shouldn't complain!

I like all these little log cabins. I could and should make a quilt using these. Great stash busters.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
