But little I can show! :-( Sorry!
Gosh, has it really been 10 days since I last posted!? Time is just moving too fast lately! I have been making string blocks for a swap I'm in~ this is a sampling of what I mailed out on Monday. We are sending 3 blocks to each swapper. I'm really enjoying the stress-free sewing.
I also finished the March Birdie Stitches BOM from Little Miss Shabby. Being part Irish, I had to add in some shamrocks. ;-)
For the past few evenings I have been un-sewing some quilting I did on table toppers last year. I wasn't all that pleased with the quilting, and want to give them another shot. I'm happy to say I finished 'froggin' last night. (rip-it, rip-it) ;-)
I also need to post some goals for March and April for the Charming Girls~
I'm going to continue to keep things simple and fun, so my real goals will be to finish up the Le Petite projects each month, and work on BOM's. I also hope to do a little quilting and purse making.... we'll see how that goes. :-)
I hope to be back sooner next time!
Happy Stitchin'!

I love your blocks and well...I too hate to unsew...
I love sewing string blocks. Yours look wonderful as does your Birdie Stitches block!!
String quilt blocks look good no matter what fabric is used. Yours is no exception.
I like your string blocks -to-swap! They are so fun!!! Your embroidery project is really cute (I'm still on #1). I think your goals are great... could we trade, your goals sound so much more doable:) good idea, keeping it simple!
Love the shamrocks on your birdie block! I may just have to add a few to my block too! If I remember that is! LOL
The shamrocks are a perfect touch to your adorable birdie block! It will be fun to see your string quilt after you are done swapping.
I love the shamrocks - they add so much to the block and are just perfect for March. (Very Clever on your part!)
Those shamrocks you added are a great touch for a March block :) I just love your scrappy blocks around the block - are they scraps from your vintage sheets collection?
Thanks for sharing that link to the BOM again - I was wanting to look it up and get caught up on at least saving the patterns and photos... do you know if there is a show-n-tell site? Flicker group or anything?
Talk about frog stitchin - I did some of that too recently. Only to find out that I had sew it correctly... a whole 44" seam for a pillowcase. :/ At least yours wasn't in vein. I'm sure you'll have fun re quilting it on your new machine. ;)
Love from Texas! ~bonnie
