~More Quilts from the Past~

Thanks for visiting and commenting on my quilts! :-) I think a few more peeks are in order~~
I made this quilt for DS2 when he 'graduated' to a twin bed. :-) It was a mystery pattern in 'Traditional Quiltworks'. I'm pretty sure the pattern designer was Debbie Caffrey. The border is a forest animals print and the back was another fabric from the same line with animals all over it. This quilt is well loved and this photo was taken before all the lovin'! LOL :-) It was hand quilted by my mom and her friends also.

This is one of my all time favorites and you will find it on my bed in the autumn. :-) It is a Kim Diehl pattern from the book 'Simple Blessings'. It was machine quilted with feathers and other fun stuff. :-)
Have a happy day!~
I'm off to my 'padded room' to work on that challenge! ;-))
Until next time~
Happy Stitchin'!

this just shows me that I have to stop starting!! I need to have some of my pieces put together so I can say "look at this quilt!!" instead of "these are for this quilt, when I get it together!!"!! Thanks for the show and now, you stay in that padded cell till someone comes and lets you out!!! (or you realize, dinners needs to get started or there won't be any!! but we've talked about that to haven't we??? ;-) ) have a great padded room day!!!!

That quilt from the Simple Blessings book is my favorite, too. Thanks for all the peeks at all your lovely quilts from the past. The thrifty project looks interesting. I can't wait to see it evolve. And I've said it before but I love the My Blue Heaven blocks. So pretty!

I love that bottom one. I'm about to start a bright one, just to shake myself out of this mood!

I love your quilt from Kim's book. I have the Simple Traditions book, but have yet to make something out of it. Anyway, great quilt show :-)

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
