Design Wall Monday~

Today my 'design wall' is my cutting mat! LOL :-) The library got in a copy of Kaffe Fassett's 'Passionate Patchwork' and called me on Saturday. :-)) I had to play, didn't I? I tried a block in each size. A triangle ruler would've been helpful!~ I used my 6 inch and 24 inch rulers with the 45ยบ angles. The blocks came out the right size, so I guess it worked! :-)) I can see that this is going to be a long term project~ it's a little bit fiddly, even though he says to not worry about matching the stripes.

I am going to change gears this week and work on getting borders on quilts! Wish me luck! ;-)

Until next time~
Happy stitchin'!

If the man says not to worry about the matching the stripes, quit stressing about matching the stripes!!! stop being fussy and they don't have to be fiddly, your just being picky!!! ;-)

Oh this is going to be a fun quilt. Hmmmm, could it be a for a certain graduate?? You know, you now have me thinking - dang it!!! And you know that is not always good for me!!!! lol!! And, get sewing girl!!! and I don't have to wish you luck, you are surrounded with it!! And you are going to do fine - just stay in your padded room and don't leave!!!

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
