Oh it felt great to dig into my scraps and sew today! I'm working on this bag for a friend who loves Thimbleberries fabrics. You might recognize the pattern~ I did the B&W bags from the same pattern last month. ;-) It's from the Spring issue of 'Quilts and More' magazine. I added the prairie points instead of the rick-rack, and a solid top instead of more strips. It is a really versatile pattern to change around. ;-) Now my question is~ should I sew buttons on every prairie point? or not? I'm so undecided! :-o I'm also making a few accessories to go in the bag, so back to work with me!
Thanks for your help!~
Until next time~
Happy Stitchin'!!

This looks like a fairly good size bag. Well done.
Great bag! I'd say your are done! 8-)
Happy stitchings!
Love the prairie points on the bag! I'd leave the points unadorned :^)
hummm buttons or no buttons...?
I maybe off, but I'm thinking it would be cute if you added buttons along the top where the triangles meet and overlap...? ;) jsut an idea. Looks cute too as it is.
Work on the other little extras you have planned first and then decide.
I "tried" to make a Miranda Bag at the COF... and OwenJulesMommy was the bestest at teaching... but I was too behind to catch up each night when we got free time to work on it. By the time I'd get it figured out what I needed to do and sit down to do the next step they'd announce out that we had to leave outta there in just 10 minutes! :/ so I didn't get far at a time... plus waiting on ironing boards and cutting mats inbetween each and every step was a hassle - but the biggest pain was sitting along the table with my back to wall - and towards the center of the very long table - IMPOSSIBLE to get in and out of there very fast ... waht a pain to climb over people. :( 100% my fault for picking a machine there...
so needless to say I did not get my bag made although my fabric was gaugous! ;) OJM ended up taking it home with her... and she said she'd complete it for me ;)
