~Schnibble Fun~

I have been really bad this year about keeping up with the 'Another Year of Schnibbles' sew alongs!

This month is the exception! LOL

When Sherri and Sinta said to pick any mini pattern

I immediately knew my choice! :-)

I have had the round & round pattern in my hot little hands for a

bit, and want to make the large quilt. BUT~ it also has the mini

in the pattern. Yay!

I did mine in scrappy reds. I just adore red & white quilts!

I hope to get it quilted later this week, but it

seems since Spring has sprung here~ I am out digging in the dirt

more than sewing. :-o

~My New Bag~

When I went to Expo in March, one of the booths~

A Quilter's Dream from CA

was back for a second year. :-)

I had noticed the booth last year, but I was too

overwhelmed by her beautiful display to decide which bag kit to buy. :-)

Instead I did a lot of ooohing and ahhing... and then

kicking myself!

I didn't have that problem this year! LOL

I loved 'Brooklyn' from the first time I saw it,

so the pattern and 6 FQ's came home with me. :-)

Yes, just 6 FQ's to make this bag and some interfacing.

I loved the bird fabric! LOL And I hadn't ever thought about mixing batiks and 

other fabrics, but all of her display bags were made this way~ and I loved them!

A Tale of Two Toppers~

Happy Sunday!

I hope you are enjoying a little sunshine where you are~ it is a gorgeous day

here.. 66º, sun, no wind. I think I may have to fire up the grill tonight. :-)

I love the ten minute table runners, and even more I like the mini ones~

                 It not only works perfectly for our entry, but they can pretty up the bathroom too. ;-)

~A Little More of that Secret Sewing~

A while back Jennie & Clara of Clover & Violet asked me to 

do a little stunt sewing for them.  :-)

Oh fun!!!

The only problem was, once I finished the projects~ I wanted to keep them! :-o

Ok, let me back up a minute....

Blend Fabrics asked them to make a few things for their booth

at the up-coming Quilt Market. :-) I can't stop smiling!

And they asked me~me!~ to help sew.

Ah, pinch me now!  :-)

I am so excited just to know that something I have stitched will be at the Spring Quilt Market!!

out of Blown Away by  designer - Josephine Kimberling

I love this fabric~ the hot air balloons and shower clouds are so fun!

I really wanted to keep this one! LOL

I've Decided~

...to start truncating my blog.  I just did it to the previous two posts and it 

is really easy to do!

Just do a Google search and you will find lots of tutorials. ;-)

And since it isn't a post without a photo~

I made this for a friend~ It is from the free block pages of  Fat Cat Patterns.  

It was fun and easy! 

This post is too short to bother with truncating. ;-)
