Rose Colored Glasses Hop

Hello! and welcome to my day in the Rose Colored Glasses Blog Hop!

I don't own 'rose' colored glass~ mine are ruby. :-)

I found them one year in the Target dollar section right before Valentines Day. And I love them for deciding on value of certain fabrics~

Yes, you can now use your cell phone and gray out your pix and get the same effect. But my glasses are handy, while my cell phone often is not. ;-)

So, our challenge was...

"Your sewn project must have one or more of the following:"

Rose/pink fabric
Eyeglasses
Roses
Positive Words

~Carol @justletmequilt

My project is a rose colored hooded towel for one of my DGDs!

They all love unicorns. :-) I think I will be making more. LOL

The machine embroidery design is from Designs By Juju HERE

Even if you don't embroider, you will love Juju's tutorial for making a hooded towel.  There are NO exposed seams! Check it out HERE

With pool season underway, surely you know someone who would love a hooded towel when they get out of the water. ;-)

I hope you enjoyed my post; be sure to check out all my fellow Wednesday bloggers~~

I can't thank you enough for this post. My grandies love hooded towels and the tutorial I found online isn't nearly as nice as these are. I love her appliques too. Looks like I'm off to go embroidery design shopping! LOL!!

My daughters loved hooded towels when they were little and they would have been over the moon to receive that one. Very cute.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
