Sweet On You Hop~ Thursday :-)

 Hello bloggers and hoppers!

The idea for this hop was Joan's @MooseStash Quilting and what a fun idea for February!!  Thank you Joan!! I have enjoyed visiting all the blogs and 'sweet' ideas~ have you too?

I decided to make a project from the Fat Quarter Shop's exclusive free patterns, with a little twist. I wanted my wall hanging to be mini. :-) I did the math and made the Love Note Pattern half size.

It is approx 10.25" x 12" inches~

Ok, I love it, but what if I made it even smaller?

How about 5" x 6"?

It is really easy to reduce patterns and blocks and I had a blast making the mini-mini. ;-)  Ok, I might be a math nerd, but honestly~ it is easy. :-)

In the evenings I worked on the accompanying free cross-stitch pattern. I got it stitched, but not fully finished.... it will be by next year! LOL  I have a small cutting board that I plan to mount it on so I can hang it in my dining nook next year. :-)

I hope you enjoyed my little 'sweet' treats. Be sure to check out all of today's bloggers~

What fun! I'm a math nerd, too. It's what I do when I can't sleep - figure out the acres on a deck of a Stardock space station in Star Trek, for instance. Your math time was well spent on reducing the sizes. That mini is adorable.

Tiny is right up my alley. I love your projects, but especially the "Tiny". "Nerd", no I don't think so, but "whiz", well yeah now that's a possibility. Loved visiting with you today

I was so tempted to make those envelopes. Love that you made a teeny tiny one and a cross stitch one, too!

They're lovely. When you reduce a pattern do you just cut every block/strip in ½ or whatever size
you're aiming for?

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
