I love buttons, although I've never had very many~ but that changed for me this week! :-)
My friend sent me her button box because she is downsizing her sewing things.
I am just thrilled she thought of me! :-)

I have been enjoying sifting through them and I found this 'key' in them.
At least I think it is some kind of key to something~ do you know?
Do you have one or have you ever seen one?
I am real curious about it and have written to her too. ;-)

That's a lot of buttons! I haven't sewn any Christmas gifts yet. I only have maybe a couple of things I would like to sew.
Hello, perhaps this key is a sort of screwdriver for a sewing machine, you know, for those hard to reach places when you want to change a needle, for example.
Oh fun. I agree...it looks like a screwdriver of sorts.
My guess for the key would be to open one of the wood cases that have a domed lid...an antique/vintage sewing machine case.
