That describes me this weekend! :-)
I have been cutting more strips and bits for 4 patches and I also cut out the mystery quilt that is in the March/April issue of Quiltmaker magazine.
I have the hardest time choosing colors for mysteries! This time I had just purchased the large print for pillowcases~and then I got my magazine. Pillowcases are going to morph into a quilt! LOL
Notice the pages by the '5' in my signature?
Yep, I was so caught up in cutting out the pieces I didn't notice when the magazine slipped below my fabric until I sliced right through the corner! :-o Whoops!!
A bit of tape and my pages are back in order. :-)
I hope you had a little quilty fun this weekend too!
Until next time~
Happy stitchin'!

I was so tempted to do that mystery quilt when I opened my magazine, so it will be fun watching how your pretty choices come together. Choosing fabrics for a mystery are always a bit scary to me too.
lovely fabrics - luckily it was the magazine and not a pile of fabric.
The colors are so pretty. I'd hate to tell you how many things I have accidentally sliced through on my cutting table.
Those fabrics look pretty! Can't wait to see your mystery quilt. I only did one mystery quilt because I am a visual person and want to see what I'm getting myself into ;-D
hehehe so funny that you cut the magazine. Nice fabrics - can wait to see it as you sew the quilt together.
I love the fabrics you are using and look forward to seeing your quilt come together. Oh, and yes, I too can cut through more that just my fabrics if I'm not careful!
