A Tale of Two Toppers~

Happy Sunday!
I hope you are enjoying a little sunshine where you are~ it is a gorgeous day
here.. 66º, sun, no wind. I think I may have to fire up the grill tonight. :-)

I love the ten minute table runners, and even more I like the mini ones~

It not only works perfectly for our entry, but they can pretty up the bathroom too. ;-)

I had two fat quarters, so I made two.
I cut the turquoise FQ in half~ I was lucky as it measured 18.5 inches so I got two 9.25 inch pieces.
I cut the print into two 5.25 pieces (x 22 inches) and have some of it left.

The reason I made two?  Well for one of you!
I was wondering how many of my readers would press the link to continue reading. ;-)

I found a few other goodies to go along with the runner.
Just leave a comment to be entered in the drawing... something about Spring. :-)

For a second entry, tell me if you follow my blog and how.

That's it. No hoops!
I will draw later this week and announce the winner on Friday.
Good luck!

Until next time~
Happy stitchin'!

Yes, we are having a lovely weekend here in Washington; finally! In spring, I love to see the new growth in the garden. It makes going through winter all that much easier! Thanks so much for your generosity.

Some of our students made these last week for some home Easter decor - such a quick project. I think Spring finally came here as we have had continual climbing temps and some of my daffodils popped open.

Well it might be spring in the UK too with the sun shining and the trees showing some green BUT there is a viciously cold wind and the temp is only 45.

I just might have to make me a few of these, just adorable.

Where is Spring? It dropped from 86 Saturday to 46 Sunday with snow on the ground Monday. I have you bookmarked and check in every day. I am at lhs4664(at)q(dot)com if I happen to win.

count me in please - I love spring but do not like the spring storms that bring power outages like the one I have today!

I haven't seen that pattern before. Very cute. Our spring always means the return of the migrating birds.

Spring here in Arlington Texas is really sending the gorgeous birds our way and I love seeing my plants sprout and love Easter being later so that I can decorate with warmer weather and a bit of green in the yard.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
