~Hello~

Happy Spring!
I hope you've had a little sunshine in your life today. :-)

I want to tell you one of the reasons I've been kind of MIA here.
I was pattern testing for Kati Cupcake! :-)

I love to pattern test.
It gives me a chance to put my math skills and beany brain to work. :-)
I know, I love math! And that does make me a little nerdy, but I'm
ok with that. LOL

Anyway I had the pleasure of testing 'Sew Edgy'~

~photo borrowed from kati cupcake blog~

And this is my version...

Of course, it was a rainy day, so the inside photo will have to do for now.
I didn't get it quilted yet. I was waiting for backing, and now I'm waiting for a thread order. :-)

When my DD spied this quilt she asked if I could gift it to her boyfriend for Christmas! LOL
My kids are always putting dibs on my sewing projects. :-)

I wanted to post to tell you to run over to Amy's blog~ kati cupcake and look at all her new patterns. And be sure to leave a comment as she is having a giveaway! ~I hope I am not too late, I'm not sure when she is doing her drawing. Tell her I sent you. :-)

Have a happy weekend!

That is a really nice pattern and pretty quilt. Love those colors. Great job :-)

Very sharp design and I like your colors even better than those on the pattern. I like bright colors best, so yours appeals to me.

I like the pattern. It has sort of a southwest feel to me and I like the clean lines of it. Have fun quilting it!

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
