Time has been flying for me again! Where does it go? :-o
I do have a couple things to show for my absence! ;-)
First~ I was the lucky winner of a jelly roll of L'amour from Sew Cindy ~ love it!! I have never made a 1600 quilt, so thought the time was right. My friend in Canada and I sewed' together' for a day and I got most of it done. :-) And I have been dreaming of a Valentine's quilt for a long time~ so this was absolutely perfect! Thank you Cindy!!
I had to be creative with the borders. I had a little bit of fabric in my stash, but not quite enough. :-/ I can't wait to get a backing now and get quilting! :-)
I also finished the mini from Pam Buda's Patchwork Pocket Sew Along. You can call me crazy, but I love fiddling with little blocks! LOL
I am continuing to stitch on the Over the River and Through the Woods pattern by Crabapple Hill. I'm a little over halfway on the first panel.
Hope you are finding time to stitch too!
'bye for now!

LOVE the Valentine's quilt. That looks just fabulous.
I haven't tried one of the 1600 quilts yet. How long did it take to sew it together? It looks great. I'd love to see your embroidery block when it's done as well. I know they're pretty big ones though and take a while. Happy stitching!
Love your quilts! They look fantastic :-)
Perfect Jelly Roll for a 'race' quilt - gorgeous! And love your mini - a little bit of cheer - I love tiny fiddly too.
Love your jelly roll quilt...I have been thinking of making one...yours is very beautiful and inspiring! You did a lovely job on the blocks...so sweet!
It's really cute, Terry.
Your sew along blocks look wonderful.
Well, it looks like you "won" that quilt race! It looks great, Sandie. I'm curious, does it go together as fast as I've heard? Glad you could use the jelly roll
And your mini is WONDERFUL! I truly love it!!
Your valentine quilt looks prefect for Feb. I saved the pattern from Pam, I'd love to make that one.
I am crazy about fiddling with little blocks too. Should I start another project?!?!
Oh 1600s are so much fun to make, especially for something quick and simple!! Love your Valentine's one!! I have one that needs sandwiching too...
Great mini too!
Happy stitching!
Oh I love it!!
Nice Valentine quilt :-)
I really love this.
Did you cut your own strips? What kind of variety did you have?
I'm going to have to dig into the Valentine's fabric from a buy-in a few years ago.
I love your show and tell~! I really love your version of Pam's Patchwork Pocket blocks... so cute... I might have to do it again!
