Last night was Friday Night Sew-In. Did you sew? I didn't think I was going to be able to join in, but at the 11th hour decided I needed a little 'me time'. :-) And I sewed! Whoohoo! I have been working on so many things that I can't show you... yet. That I decided I needed a little fun. LOL
First, I needed to make some pinwheels for a project. A friend is making some too, so we needed to coordinate the 'spin'. I am pinwheel challenged. LOL So I made up one and hopefully we will both be spinning the same way. I have more to make up today~ part of the reason I will be tied to my sewing chair. ;-)
I've fallen behind in my Great Granny Quilt Along squares, so I got two almost completed. One is partially done by my sewing machine and one more is laid out on a design board. I will finish these four up today and that will give me nine. But do I want to stop there? Or make my quilt a little bigger? Decisions. Decisions. I am using my vintage sheet collection and white muslin for my blocks and am loving how they turn out. This is going to be a very snuggly quilt ~ which is why I think I should make it bigger. ;-)
Today my sewing is going to be for me and next week I get back to work on the 'secret stuff'. But no worries~ you will get to see the secret stuff in October! :-) And really, it isn't that far away!~ Must get to work!
Have a wonderful day and
Until next time~
Happy sewing!!

Have fun sewing! Your blocks are so pretty!
Love the blocks, very pretty.
The vintage sheet pieces are just perfect for the granny blocks. Good idea.
The fabrics in your Granny blocks look fabulous. It is such a fun block to make too.
I love pinwheels. Yours looks GREAT! Your great granny blocks are very pretty. I love the vintage fabrics. I finally finished the last 6 I was wanting to do. Now it's time to put the blocks together.
The blocks look lovely, if they are also really snuggly , well I am not sure I could resist going bigger!
I love your granny blocks, they really do remind me of the crocheted granny square :)
And the fabrics are so flower-y! What a perfect choice to use these sheets!
It does feel so good to get some me time in - and sewing time is the best me time. So relaxing. Nice and pretty blocks.
Love your granny squares! I'm collecting vintage sheets but don't quite have enough variety yet. So pretty!
That is going to be a great quilt, love the colors with the white.
