Bitten!

I've been bitten! By the Great Granny Quilt Along bug. :-)  Jodi and Lori are sponsoring this quilt along~ and I just couldn't resist. :-)

My vintage sheet stash seemed to be the perfect choice for blocks, so I quickly made one.

Then I decided I needed bigger design boards. :-)  (You can find that tutorial on Lori's blog too). The dollar store had the foam board. I made 2 last night and had to play with my sheet squares. Fun!

Hopefully I can get to my sewing machine later today to sew them up. Right now I'm headed outside to paint!

Thanks for stopping by~ Have a happy day!

I want to join in too but gosh darn I may have to give up some sleep to get a few more hours in my day. Your blocks are sweet!

I finally gave in and started on my first block for this one too! Hopefully I can use up a bunch of my 2-1/2 inch squares on this one! :0)

I made my first one last night! I love yours and I love how fun they are. I had seen some other ones before but didn't know how to make them so was glad to see the instructions. So fun.

Your sheet pieces are going to make a good Granny block. I wouldn't have thought of that. It will make your quilt unique.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
