Today I sewed a block for a swap and the fifth block in the Layer Cake Quilt Along. Now I'm getting ready to cut out the fabric for a reuseable market bag. No Thimbleberries were used.

Wish I could join you today. I do have a bunch of sewing projects that needs to be done, probably won't get to it until later this week.

My BFF,Pam, came over and we had a play day in the sewing studio. She worked on a flower power thread catcher and I worked on cutting 2 by 5 strips for a Bonnie Hunter workshop we are taking at the end of January. Then we discussed Art Deco and quilting.

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
