Just Catching Up~

I did manage to get the binding on DS's quilt and its been on his bed this week. While many of you are getting snow, snow, and more snow. It's been chilly but sunny here. So I got him outside for a photo of his finished quilt. :-) Just in case you are new to my blog, the pattern is from Judy L and a quilt-along she did. I call it 'Bears In the Forest' although her pattern was called 'Bears in the Farmhouse'. ;-) I forgot to get a shot of the back of the quilt~ maybe when it warms up a little he will humor me again. :-)

I also got a full photo of my Christmas Rails quilt that was in SewCalGal's Virtual Quilt Show. Although DS would like this one on his bed too, it is on the couch. I hope to finish up another Christmas quilt in 2010 and then maybe they will be on our beds next year. ;-) The back of this one is just an allover paisley green print. I didn't even have to piece anything. :-)

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a will have a very bright New Year!
I'm so grateful to have y'all as my friends and am looking forward to lots of quilty inspiration in the new year. :-)
Until next time~

Happy Stitchin'!

Well, it's been a long time since I've talked to you!!! It was bitterly cold here over a week ago, but it's warmer now. And we have not had our usual wind, which is we did have, woul make the 'warmth' brutely cold!!!
Love your quilts!! thank your son for induging us with helping with the photo!! And a rail fence..... hmmmm, that is a very nice Christmas quilt....... I think, after I get the border on my Bonnie Hunter mystery (yes, still two to go...) that I want to do another Christmas one. Fill my house with chrismas cheer next year. And the rail fence looks great!!

I am off to work here. 41 hrs this week, add 10 for the drive and I also have to make things out of the turkey leftovers!!! 30# bird - what was I thinking??? I wasn't!! I forgot I worked a full week this week, so I am going to have to fit in the turkey time somewhere - and I will.

I miss talking to you. Have yourselves a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! Know I think about you, and stay warm!!!
Okay, off to work.... yeah!!! ;-)
