What is By My Sewing Machine~
I can't show you!! :-)) LOL I am working on my Christmas mini for Bingo~Bonnie in our little swap of mini's. So this is Bonnie's peek....

You can go here to edit photo's like this. ;-) I hope the photo isn't too revealing! :-))
Next~ What is By My Chair~
I am hand stitching! :-o And if you know me, you know I used to be' allergic' to needles. :-)) LOL
I won the pattern and charm pack for this cute turkey wall hanging from Leah at Burgundy Buttons during the Autumn Bloggers Quilt Festival that Amy at Park City Girl hosted. The pattern is called 'Presidential Pardon' by Sandy Gervais and uses the Gobble, Gobble charm pack.
So far I have the head, beak and waddle hand stitched down. The tail feathers will get added tonight~ this just shows the outer two, but he will have a full tail. ;-)
Now hop on over to Judy L's blog and see what other quilters are up to! You will find lots of inspiration there!
Until next time~
Happy Stitchin'!!

I am anxious to see the turkey with all his feathers.
It's not too revealing ;) but I can tell that I already love the fabrics you chose! :)
and can't wait to see your turkey come together - I love that you said you use to be allergic to needles! hehehe maybe that is my excuse for not learning hand applique yet?

I can't wait to see what you have put together for Bonnie. I've already seen the one you are getting. Well, maybe I have. :c)
Your turkey looks like it will be fun, looking forward to seeing him all put together.
ooough I just happened up on the designer of that turkey pattern's blog and website ;) she is so talented!
her blog is:
http://piecesfrommyheart-sgervais.blogspot.com
and her website - that has that cute turkey on the front page is:
www.piecesfrommyheart.net
and after an hour of clicking thru all 37 pages of all of her patterns I discovered that it was HER pattern called "Overlapping Interest" that was the inspiration for the fall mini that I made for you! ;) What a small world? I'm so glad to have found out who/where - and I wrote her an email... I will later post on my blog about it. ;)
Love from Texas! ~bonnie
