We had a swap for 30's blocks on the hgtv message boards a few years ago. I made enough blocks to swap to get 3 quilts. :-) Yes, I love 30's fabrics! :-) This one I assembled and sent to my Mom to have her group handquilt for me~ I did this approx 2 years ago. :-o When I got it back, I loved the quilting, but was paralyzed by fear that I'd mess up the scalloped binding. So I procrastinated, and procrastinated some more... sigh.

I've been kind of headache/shoulder & neck aching the last couple of days, so I haven't been feeling like working on string blocks... hopefully I'll get back on track soon!

Hopefully the photo's will enlarge if you click on them... sometimes it works, and sometimes not. I don't know why!
Thank you for stopping by and for all your comments on my other quilts! I've shared your comments with my Mom too. ;-)
Until next time~
Happy Stitchin'!

What a wonderful sampler quilt! I don't blame you for procrastinating on the bias binding, I hate making bias! Now you can celebrate that it's done. Maybe you're achy from working on this quilt??
Thanks for stopping by and seeing my snowmen, they like visitors, LOL
Ooohhhh. I love 30's fabrics, sampler quilts and scalloped bindings. So I just love this quilt. You did a great job. Wish you were here to share some of the bread!
The quilt and your scallops are beautiful!!! Wonderful!!!
Here is a link for a bias binding chart... may be of help in the future for you... 8-)

Question for you. I'd like to know what you do to make some photos in your post NOT open at all when click on it to enlarge, like on other photos...Many bloggers have that, and I haven't a clue how that goes...
That's a really beautiful quilt, and the scallop looks great. Most things we put off turn out to be not so bad, don't they?
