I took the final stitches in the binding last night. :-) I swapped the red/white Monkey Wrench blocks in 2007, and figured out the lay-out in my EQ program. It was a lot of fun putting this one together and it waited a year before I could get it quilted. My DD loves it, but I'm not sure where it will go yet. ;-) Maybe I'll keep it and use it in February.... :-)
Yikes~ I guess blogger likes my photo tipped. :-/
I wish I would've kept a notebook of quilts I finished this year~ I will next year! Off the top of my head, I can think of 13 that I quilted and finished up, from queen size to baby quilts. That isn't too bad! ;-) And I made a number of bags and small items that were quilted too. I have lots of plans for 09~ why can't I sew as fast as I can think up things??! LOL :-))
Have a safe and happy night and a wonderful 2009!
See ya next year... ;-) And until then~
Happy Stitchin'!

Happy New Year to you!
Love the red and white quilt, congrats on sneaking in one more finish for 20081
I think keeping a notebook of all your finishes is an excellent idea...
I think I'll do that too
I love this quilt. Nice job.
Love the quilt!
I keep a spredsheet of my projets... only I don't finsih as many as I start :P
maybe when you post a finish in the spot below the blog post entry add "finished project" or other title you prefer... then anytime during the year you wnat to know how many projects you have completed you can click on the label you selected and it will pull only those posts up. (just an idea) ;)
oh and if you discover a way to sew as fast as you can think up things, you'll be a GAZILLIONAIRE! I know I'm just one out of a few thousand who'd pay to find out the secret! LOL :)
Love from Texas! ~bonni
I jsut scrolled down you blog and see that you labeled your one block wonder post as "a finish" so you are already assigning labels... so just go back into this one of the monkey wrench and add another label (you can have more than one on a post) :)
hope that helps ;) ~bonnie
Love, love, love the red quilt.
This is beautiful. I love the red and white combo. You should keep it because red and white goes with so many holidays... Christmas, Valentines Day, July 4th just to name a few. I love the border treatment.
