Up to my Ears in Flowers! :-)

...or rather, floral blocks! :-) I hosted a 9-patch floral swap recently and spent the weekend swapping out all the blocks. We had a total of 29 swappers who sent in 773 blocks!! WOW! That is a lot of blocks to swap! I had my dining room table with the leaf in it, 2 long tables, a round card table, a TV table and 2 chairs covered in blocks! It took part of Saturday and Sunday to do the actual swapping. Today I am re-counting and bagging up the blocks to go back home to their owners. It will take all of today to finish that. Starting tomorrow I will be making trips to the post office. :-) It has been great fun to see all the different floral fabrics! I hope my swappers all love their blocks as much as I do!

And now I need to get back to work!~

Happy Stitching!

I think you love to host swaps so that you can drool all you want over everyone's lucious fabrics and of course fondle them all repeatedly! LOL! Seriously though I think the swappers are thrilled that you do the work for them. Enjoy your floral blocks; have you decided what you're going to do with them?? cheers QGB

WOW nearly 30 swappers!!! I know you earned your "crazy" name sorting thru all of these! LOL :P

looks like you are becoming quite popular hostess :) and may have to have a signup cut off! I never had that problem until the mini 9 patch this year.. but the first round had somehitng like 50 sign up but not every followed thru but I've always had at least 30.

I can't wait to see "your" florals. Are you gonna slice and dice them? Love from Texas! ~bonnie

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
