Ahhh the Sewing Machine...

...a girls best friend! I think of that little ditty often, especially when I get a new aquisition. :-) This little beauty came home with me last week. It's a Pfaff 130, made in Germany and has the mongramming dials etc. I'm sure it was considered very 'high tech' in its day. It weighs a ton, and sews beautifully. ;-) Isn't it lovely??? :-)

Wow! How old would you say it is? It looks like it might be from the 40s-50s. I didn't even know that Pfaff was that old?! I guess ya learn something everyday hey! Thanks for showing that beaut!
Happy stitchings!

What an interesting sewing machine. I used to have several vintage & antique sewing machines but not so many now. Had to cut back when we downsized. No treadle machines now. Just some smaller ones.

Aren't they awesome! I have one as well and just love it!And since it has a belt it can be treadled and will fit in any Singer cabinet!

Who knew that having a Halloween Hop last week would bring the chilly weather?! We had rain, wind--- the power even went out for a few hours...
